March 26th, 2022: Early registration and payment due. $10 discount towards registration cost. Volunteers and judges need to be registered. 

March 27th, 2022: Standard registration begins.

April 2nd, 2022: Registration closes

April 10th, 2022: Athlete Event Entry deadline

Parents/Athletes/Volunteers: Sign up and pay HERE on SportsEngine. AMJRF Members receive a $10 discount toward registration.

All judges and volunteers need to register using the online registration. All judges and volunteers should register using the non-member form for FREE. 

Attire: All volunteers must wear black pants, shorts, or a skirt and a black shirt.  Please look professional.

Judging Requirements: All teams are required to have one IJRU certified judge for every 4 jumpers that the team enters into the competition. Registered teams MUST provide at least 1 CERTIFIED JUDGE for every 4 jumpers or the jumpers WILL NOT be permitted to compete. 

Location: Meadowbrook Athletic Complex, 5001 Meadowbrook Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21043

Event Check In:  Doors open at 7:45 am.  A Coach of Record for each team will pick up the Welcome packet, event shirts, and competition sheets. All volunteers need to check in at the Volunteer Check-in table by 8:00 am. 

Coaches and Volunteers Meeting:  Meeting begins at 8:30 am. All teams are required to have one coach (Coach of Record) represented at the meeting in order to compete.  The Coach of record will give last minute information to the athletes and parents.

Lunch: Chick-Fil-A pre-sale lunches are available during registration for DAY 1 ONLY.

Event Shirt: An event t-shirt is included with registration. Extras will be available for sale at the event.

Per IJRU: An athletes' age is as of December 31st, 2024.

• 11 & under

• 16 - 18

• 50+

Per IJRU rules, the competition committee reserves the right to adjust the age and gender divisions when there are not enough entries.  Coaches will be notified at least two weeks prior to the competition start date.

• Male or female for individual events
• Male, Female & Mixed for pairs and group events

Medals are awarded to 1st - 3rd place for each event.

Ribbons are awarded to 4th - 5th place for each event.

Traditional competition events will follow the 2021-2022 IJRU Rules of Competition.  Judges must have IJRU certification.

Admission:  Admission is free to this event.

COVID Safety Protocols: This event must adhere to CDC, Howard County Recreation and Parks (HCRP), and Maryland state guidelines.

Current guidelines require:

1. Masks are OPTIONAL during the competition. Athletes, judges, coaches, event staff, and spectators may choose whether or not to wear a mask. Athletes may choose whether or not to wear a mask while competing.

2. Bring a reusable water bottle for the day.

Parking: There is free parking at the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex in the parking lot in front and behind the building.

Travel & Accommodations: The Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is the closest airport to the tournament (14 miles from the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex). Participants seeking overnight accommodations can search for hotels that suit their needs in the Ellicott City or Columbia region. There are hotels within a 10-15 minute drive of the tournament facility.

Hotels: 

Kangaroo Kids has reserved a block of rooms at two hotels near the tournaments. You can choose to book at one of these hotels, or another nearby hotel that meets your needs.
